A Night Out with Russians

From Russia With Love as the James Bond movie goes. This time the Russians brought me a few cool t-shirts from Sim, my Vietnamese friend. Marina and her husband were in Malaysia for their 10th honeymoon (they got married at the age of 20!), and they just got back from Taman Negara today before flying off tomorrow.

I totally forgotten about the dinner plans until Marina called. So I rushed from the office to Hotel Istana, and took them out for dinner at KTZ in Jalan Imbi. Her husband didn't speak much English though I think he understood what I said. He would speak to Marina in Russian to which she would then ask me questions his keen on. It was interesting conversing with them though if they had more time I would have perhaps taken them to Melaka over the weekend.
