Just a few months after I went through my own Heroes marathon, Season 2 is back with a bang! It's already 5 episodes into the season in the States and I'm partially through downloading some of them. So far caught a glimpse of Episode 5 and I daresay it's as good as ever with plenty of twists and surprises.
NBC also has released Season 1 on DVD (about USD 50 = RM 150+?), and I'm very tempted to get it. Not only does it have all 23 episodes, it also as another 73-minute pilot premiere episode which was not aired. Plus all the usual extras including 50 deleted scenes, commentaries, etc.
Tim Sale (the artist behind the graphic novels) has also released a 240 page graphic novel on the series which includes all the online comics that ties in with the story. It's about USD 20 online (about RM 70+), and am thinking of picking that up as well.
Heroes website itself contains a 360 degree Heroes experience from documentaries about the Heroes, to the graphic novels, mysterious videos, letters from various characters, etc that is updated weekly. My guess that this is the standard for all future media/online marketing and interactive experience.
I think I may have caught the Heroes bug!
